This policy is unusually short, because we collect unusually little. It is split into two parts, because the app and the website behave completely differently and blurring them would be dishonest.

Part one — the apps

What you write in The Spiral Stopper, The Brain Off Switch, The Worry Window or any other Tiny Ignition app never reaches us.

The apps have no user accounts. There is no login. There is no server holding your cases or your nights. Everything you type is stored in your own device's local storage, protected by a PIN that you set and that we never see.

We do not receive your entries. We do not store them, back them up or transmit them. We cannot read them, and neither can anyone we work with. We do not use them to train anything. We do not sell, share or disclose them, because we do not have them. Deleting the app or clearing your browser data deletes them permanently, and we cannot restore them.

The app is served over the web, so opening it makes ordinary requests to load the app and the files it needs to run. Our host may record standard technical information such as IP address, browser type and time of request, in the same way any website does. This is used for security and to keep the service running. None of those requests carry anything you have written, because what you write never leaves your device.

This is a normal commercial website and it behaves like one. Here is everything.

Our providers

Whop processes your payment and handles checkout. Whop receives your name, email, billing country and card details, and acts as an independent controller for its own purposes under its own privacy policy. We never see or store your full card number. Where you complete a purchase, Whop may also store your payment method against your record, so that a further purchase you choose to make can be completed without entering your card again. We never see or hold that card, and nothing is charged without an action from you.

Whop Ads runs our advertising and provides the tracking pixel on this website. The Whop Ads pixel records that you visited this page and whether you bought, so that we can tell which adverts led to a purchase.

Meta Platforms, Inc. hosts the adverts themselves on Facebook and Instagram. Our campaigns are run through Whop Ads, and conversion data is passed on to Meta so that Meta can attribute a purchase to the advert you saw.

Zapier connects our payment provider to our email. When you buy, Zapier receives your email address and the fact that a purchase happened, and uses it to trigger your delivery message.

Google sends that message. Your email address passes through Gmail on its way to you.

Namecheap hosts our support@tinyignition.com mailbox. If you email us, or reply to us, Namecheap holds that message.

Each of these providers has its own privacy policy governing what it does with data once it holds it.

The advertising pixel

This website loads the Whop Ads pixel. It records that you visited this page and whether you completed a purchase, so we can tell which adverts are working. That conversion data is passed on to the platform the advert ran on, currently Meta, so the purchase can be attributed to the advert you saw.

The pixel measures activity on this website only: pages visited, interactions such as clicks and how far you scroll, and whether you completed a purchase. It has no access to anything you write inside the app, because nothing you write inside the app leaves your device. Whop and Meta act as independent controllers of the data they receive, under their own privacy policies.

You can limit this through your browser's cookie settings, through your device's tracking settings, or through the consent banner on this site where one is shown.

Legal basis

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies to you, we rely on contract for processing needed to deliver what you bought, legitimate interests for basic security, fraud prevention and support, consent for advertising and analytics cookies and for any marketing email, and legal obligation for tax and accounting records.

How long we keep it

Purchase and tax records, as long as the law requires, typically several years. Your email address, until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Support correspondence, up to two years. Advertising and conversion data, per the provider's retention settings.

Your rights

You can ask us to give you a copy of what we hold, correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, or object to it. You can withdraw consent for marketing at any time. You can ask for your data in a portable format.

If you are unhappy with how we handle it, you can complain to the Personal Data Protection Service of Georgia, or to the data protection authority where you live.

Note that we cannot give you a copy of, or delete, what you wrote inside the app, because we have never had it. That is on your device and under your control.

International transfers

Our providers may process data outside Georgia, including in the EU and the United States, under their own safeguards.

Children

Our products are for adults over 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, email us and we will delete it.
